The parallel flow is an improvement but my understanding is that is the compressor blows up you can't flush the condenser, it has to be replaced with new. The old conventional condenser can be flushed. That is a minor problem since the condenser is not super pricey. The time and effort to flush a condenser and get it clean is not real easy.
